The Challenge
Every shop owner asked the same question during validation:
This revealed a fundamental trust requirement: shop owners would only adopt a tool that kept the technology invisible to their customers. A message from an unknown number gets ignored. A message from a familiar number gets paid.
Our Solution
UdharPay's architecture requires each business to register their own WhatsApp number with Meta's Business API. The platform manages the API connection, template approval, and message scheduling — but every reminder is sent from the business's own registered number.
- Customer sees a message from the shop number they already have saved
- Message includes the shop's name, customer's name, and exact amount owed
- A UPI QR code pre-filled with the exact amount — zero friction to pay
- The technology is completely invisible to the end customer
The Result
During validation, when this architecture was explained to potential users, intent to adopt increased measurably. It became the single most persuasive product feature for shop owners concerned about relationship damage.
